(video with english subtitle)
First Step : Select the thématic.
To start, select the themes filter and choose the folder in which you want to store the knowledge. You must keep in mind that a themes folder does not correspond to a campaign, but to a theme. If your theme does not exist, you can create it in Configuration > Theme
A campaign can use knowledge from several thematics.
When creating campaigns, we will use thematics and CustomID or titles to find our content.
Second Step : The creation of knowledge.
To start creating a knowledge, please click on the “Add a content” button.
There are 3 mandatory fields to fill in:
- The title
- The language
- The thematic
Selecting the thematic and language upstream in the filters allows these fields to be automatically filled in.
Otherwise, you can select them from the drop-down menus.
Although not mandatory, you also have the option to choose an illustration image and a Custom ID.
If you choose not to add an image, the first image you will integrate when entering a question will be used to illustrate the knowledge of the wiki.
The custom ID is a 5-character field that you can fill in to identify your knowledge or number it.
By default, the custom ID will take the number of the card you create. The field can be modified at any time without impacting campaigns and players.
Third Step :
-
Complete the form
Once validated, you will be able to complete the form on the left side of the screen, for example by adding the custom ID of the image, or by adding a Know More.
The Know More is not mandatory, it is an additional text that will only be visible to players in the application Wiki.
By accessing a knowledge in the wiki, the player will have a "Know More" button that will allow him to access a long text that can be up to 10,000 characters that will be in addition to the explanation. This text field also accepts the use of URL links to redirect your collaborators to other sources (e.g.: websites)
-
Create question
After validating your fields, you will be able to choose a type of question
There are different gameplays: Just choose the gameplay you want to use. There can only be one question and one type of game per card.
The MCQ:
Multiple choice quiz: the player must choose between one to four possibilities to answer a question.
- Image or video illustrating the question
- 200-character area for the question
- 60-character answer choice area
- Check to indicate the correct answers
- Add up to 4 choices
- 500-character area for the explanation and the correct answer to be displayed to the player
- Image or video illustrating the answer
To delete an extra answer choice, simply click on the 4 dots to choose the delete option.
It is possible to offer two, three or four answer choices.
THE ERROR TEXT :
Error Text is a gameplay where the player must identify the incorrect word(s) in a sentence that is displayed on their screen.
- Image or video illustrating the question
- 100-character area for the correct text
- 100-character area for the incorrect text
- 500-character area for the explanation and the correct answer to be displayed to the player
- Image or video illustrating the answer
For the gameplay to work, you must include errors in the erroneous text to include errors while respecting the following rules:
- The correct text and the erroneous text must have the same number of words
- The correct text is never seen by the player. It can therefore contain errors in French, and errors in meaning if you need them to identify the correct errors in the erroneous text. This is a reference sentence to allow the software to identify errors.
- There must be between 1 and 4 differences. The more words you change, the more difficult the game will be.
THE OPEN QUESTION :
This gameplay will invite the player to write his answer using his phone's keyboard.
- Image or video illustrating the question
- 200-character area for the question
- 50-character area for the answer to be entered
- Exact answer not required
- 500-character area for the explanation and the correct answer to be displayed to the player
- Image or video illustrating the answer
To achieve this gameplay, I advise you to use questions that have a direct answer such as: “How many departments does our company have?” or “What is the name of this product?”. It is also possible to use the explanatory sentence, to remove an important word or verb and have your players complete it.
The gameplay is completed by the “Exact Answer” button
If this is activated, the player will have to write the word identically: spelling, accent and punctuation.
If this is deactivated, the gameplay allows certain variations on the word. An algorithm allows certain errors and character variations depending on the length of the word.
Please note, we invite you to always activate the “Exact answer” in the context of a numerical value. Indeed, the slightest variation in a number can greatly change its value:
1989 and 1789 are 200 years apart while the difference is only between the number 7 and 9.
THE PICTURE SPOT :
The player must indicate an area on an image to answer a question. In this gameplay, you must use an image in portrait format. The image must be representative enough to be able to ask a question on it and for the player to be able to identify an area on it to answer. He will have to touch the area with his finger to answer it.
- Portrait format image for the game
- Selection area for the answer of the current question
- Selection area size slider
- Adding additional question (up to 3 questions)
- Choosing the question
- Deleting the question
- 50-character area for the targeted area
- 150-character area for the question
- 500-character area for the explanation
It is possible to create three different questions on the same image. Each question corresponds to a selection area.
THE SWIPING CARDS :
Le joueur doit glisser les cartes en direction des réponses (droite gauche, haut en bas).
- 150 character area for question
- 20 character area for choice values
- Add choices (4 maximum)
- Menu to remove choices (2 minimum)
- Optional 50 character area for map legend
- Optional illustration image area for map
- Direction in which map should be dragged
- Delete map
- Button to add new map (6 maximum)
- 500 character area for explanation
This gameplay will allow you to scroll up to 6 cards to slide in a direction (two to four directions possible) that you will define. These cards can be either an image or a text (or even a question).
THE ORDERING CARDS :
Ordering cards asks the player to order blocks until they find the correct order. This is a gameplay perfectly suited to teaching a procedure or a chronological sequence of events.
- 60-character area for instructions. Be careful, the game will indicate that the player must put the items in order. Just use a title.
- Top of list label
- End of list label
- 90-character area for each item to be placed in order
- Adding new items to be ordered
- Button to delete, hold to move
- 500-character area for explanation
The list presents three possibilities by default, but you can extend it with as many proposals as you want.
Be careful to take into account that the more elements there are, the more difficult and longer the gameplay will be. The time will be extended proportionally to the number of possibilities.
If a player fails to sort the list, he will have to wait for the end of the countdown before moving on to the rest of the questions.
We do not recommend exceeding 7 or 8 proposals.
THE NO INTERACTION CONTENT :
You can provide your players with a text of 10,000 characters.
- 40 character area for the title.
- 10,000 character text area
- Button to add an image at the end of the text
This map is very simple to use. You can plan between one and two images to illustrate it.
This gameplay will be present in the campaigns, to serve as an introduction, a conclusion, or even to address knowledge that is unknown to your players, so that they understand the context of the other questions in your campaign.
